The co-founder and African youth ambassador of Music Unites Africa (MUA) Ambassador A.Y Adams has commended the African Union (AU) for the launch of the single, common electronic African Union passport (e-passport) for all Africans at the just concluded 27th AU Summit, in Kigali, Rwanda.
Ambassador A.Y. Adams also applauded the ultimate goal of the African Union passport which is set to realize the dream of visa free travels for African citizens within the African continent by 2020. In the same vein, the AU passport falls squarely within the framework of Africa's Agenda-2063 and has the specific aim of facilitating free movement of persons, goods and services around the continent in order to foster intra-Africa trade deals, integration and socioeconomic growth.
Reacting to this development, the spokesperson and African youth ambassador for Music Unites Africa expressed great delight by issuing out this statement;
This is a great development which is good for the Pan-Ultimate future of Africa and all Africans worldwide. AU allowing the free movement of Africans within African borders will ensure rapid socioeconomic growth and will positively fast-track the enhancement of 'attainment and achievements'. For us here at the global Pan-African MOVEMENT of Music Unites Africa, this is a strong step towards actualizing our vision and mission for Africa; a campaign to which we embarked upon 5-years ago. This will give every African a good sense of belonging and hope. This will ensure and help every African think and act beyond their national identities and Identify themselves as citizens of Africa with pride, dignity and a warm sense of cultural responsibility.
MUSIC UNITES AFRICA is a global organization of young Pan-African leaders with similarly unique visions of transforming Africa from its present state of colonial manipulation and economic decadence, to a socioeconomically progressive continent where unity and solidarity rule. MUA has for the past 5-years campaigned tirelessly for the togetherness, inclusion and empowerment of all African youths in order to bring about prosperity, unity and socioeconomic advancement to Africa's richly diverse cultural heritages. This solidarity act (which is inspired by the African Union's Agenda-2063), has led to the establishment and inauguration of the Confederation of All African Youths Worldwide - CAAYW, founded and chaired by Ambassador A.Y. Adams under the governing body of Music Unites Africa - MUA.
