EXCLUSIVE [Album Stream]: Zimbabwean Singer Jerome Arab Releases "Learning Love" EP

Jerome Arab (Former Manchester-based dance studio cleaner and caretaker) releases an acoustic-soul body of work that highlights why this vocal talent is fast becoming one of Africa’s rising stars to watch. The seven-track EP is based on Jerome’s past and present experiences of love, and is driven by his unique vocals, and Influences of Afro, indie and soul.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Jerome Arab then moved to Manchester England where he worked as a dance studio cleaner in order to pay for his studies. It was during this time that he became friends with a number of Manchester artists such as J.P Cooper (September Song) and Chris Royal (The Voice UK), who influenced his growth as an artist.

Off the back of this latest release, Jerome Arab is embarking on a five-country tour around Southern Africa in March and April 2017, that includes South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia.

Learning Love’ follows on the back of a string of successful collaborative releases under Jerome Arab’s belt on labels including InHouse Records (USA), Stoney Boy Music (Sweden) and Killertraxx (Italy). Jerome Arab’s collaboration track “Party Up” with multi-platinum selling DJ Mark One reached the Top 10 in Beatport’s charts, charted in 3 countries, and attracted several official (including DJ Stonebridge) and unofficial remixes. Jerome Arab’s undeniable vocal ability has put him on the same stages with the likes of Raekwon, 112 and Zambian songstress Namvula. ‘Learning Love’ is available for digital download on all major platforms including iTunes and Spotify.
