Demi Grace is a singer, songwriter and model. She was born to Nigerian parents in London, England and later moved the United States. Demi is dedicated to unifying the nations of her generation and empowering young women. She conquers barriers of racial expectations in her music and performance by including high energy female dancers and an overall racially diverse band. Demi Grace’s music presents a pop overtone but often includes undertones of West African music or Afro-pop. A few of her musical influences include Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Grace Jones, and Missy Elliot. She has worked with and learned from some of the best names in music and is ready to step up as the voice of today's adoptive citizen worldwide.
While growing up in South London around sisters who immersed themselves in the arts, Demi Grace developed a deep desire to be the best musician and entertainer she could be. After moving to the U.S. at age six, her dream became reachable. Grace attended Deer Valley High School in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. During her high school career, she became heavily involved in school music programs, joined and taught choir and performed weekly in a local fish shop. Demi Grace started to record music under the provision of Disney Music executive, Alyssa Talovic, while attending CSU-Northridge. She went on to earn her Bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing and released her first record the year she graduated. In 2016, Demi Grace performed with Beyonce at the MTV Video Music Awards and has worked alongside international recording artists such as Taio Cruz, Flo-Rida, Akon and Amber Rose. Demi Grace has featured in advertisements for notable brands in various markets from Chevrolet to Sephora. She most recently filmed a commercial alongside Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe for Pantene Pro-V (set to air in 2017). Grace also sang the jingle for Dark & Lovely’s Fade Resist commercial which is now airing worldwide. Demi Grace has had her records placed in TV and Film as well. In 2016 “We Are Not Alone featuring Kimmy”, a single from her Forward Movement Only album, was placed in MTV’s The Real World Television Series. “Want You”, also a single from the same album placed in the 2015 drama Phantom Halo which starred X-Men actress Rebecca Romijn.
Demi Grace has opened for and hosted events with some of the hottest Afro-beats artists, including Davido and Banky W. The singer has performed at world renown venues including the House of Blues in LA and Webster Hall in New York City. After her show at Webster Hall in mid-2016, critically acclaimed music publication, Hip Hop Weekly, stated on social media that Demi Grace is one of the “best upcoming talents...” and that she was “not afraid to be aggressive in her music..” in a full write up. Demi Grace has also fallen under the radar of international publications such as Dubai's Khaleej Times and the UK’s We Plug GOOD Music where they stated “It’s refreshing to see she doesn’t just want to make music for people to move to, but also music they can feel.” Apart from being featured in respected publications as a musician, Demi has also made appearances as a model in magazines in the U.S. and internationally. Grace was featured on the cover of two magazines in 2014, including Rolling Out Magazine which previously featured superstars such as Taraji P. Henson, Future and Zendaya on their covers. Internationally, Demi Grace has been featured in Germany’s Trend Prive Magazine and Nigeria’s Zen Magazine. Grace has been a strong believer in hard work, faith and education and has been able to achieve thus far independently, without major label backing or management.

In 2017, Demi Grace made global history by becoming the first Pantene woman with locs. Below is a video which showcases different women of different ages with different textures of hair as a powerful monologue plays over the visuals. Pantene's latest range; the “Gold Series”, was co-created by Black PhD scientists along with over 40 hairstylists and world renowned dermatologists. The collection will provide strength and moisture for women of all hair types relaxed or natural. In the new campaign, the brand celebrates the tradition, diversity and beauty of black hair. 'The Gold Series' makes Demi Grace the first woman with locs to appear in Pantene's global campaign. A beautiful achievement for a women of beauty and color worldwide.
