Barack Obama's Young African Leaders Initiative Network launches a new challenge to help accelerate the human capital development processes of young Pan-African Leaders. Over the next two months, the YALI Network challenges hundreds of thousands of it's youth-based community members to take what they’ve learned from the YALI Network Online Courses and to host a #YALILearns event in their community, and report back with photos and videos.
Whether you have already hosted a #YALILearns event or need some help getting started, the #YALILearns Challenge will offer something for everyone. The YALI Network will be rolling out a Learn to Lead course series, social media events, new course toolkits, and more to help you meet the Challenge.
If you complete the Challenge by the end of September, you will receive a special #YALILearns badge to post and share on your social media networks. Show your peers how you are leading your community and inspire them to do the same. Are you ready to accept the #YALILearns Challenge? Make it official—tell the world by sharing the #YALILearns Challenge Facebook post and graphic with your social media network. And don’t delay, this challenge will be over before you know it!
The YALI Network provides members with invaluable opportunities to connect with other leaders in their community and to learn from experts in their field. Network members have access to unique resources such as online training courses and special events in their area. Already, more than 220,000 young African leaders have joined.
